Vintage Film-Inspired Photography
Vintage-Inspired Photography. What does that mean? Every photographer has a unique way that they see the world.
For me, vintage means timeless images. I want to capture your fleeting memories for a lifetime, into a set of images that will still look good twenty years from now and not be out of style. Classic film is what inspires my style. I love that golden, warm hue in my images as if the print has been ever so slightly aged by the sun, sitting on an antique dresser, being seen and enjoyed every day for years. I love the muted tones of that classic, slightly washed look. I always try to create a style in my set of pictures that not only reflects the people I am photographing, but also reflects a consistency in who I am as a photographer and a creative individual. I want my photos to reflect what I see as the best part of my subjects. I want each image to be able to stand alone, but I always edit photo shoots as a set, ensuring that they all look good together to tell the bigger story of that time I spent with each client.
I use all modern digital camera equipment, and it is through the post processing that I can achieve the classic vintage film look. I find that this is an amazing blend of modern and classic. By using digital equipment, we are able to overcome the traditional limitations of film, ensuring your images are high quality and enabling me to capture photos where film would make it difficult. The end product is high quality imagery with the classic film look that has stood the test of time.
I believe this is what makes my brand unique. This is how I see the world.
